Year-End Recap: Thank You for a Strong 2025 – Onward to 2026
Season’s greetings from all of us at CrownCloud.
As 2025 comes to a close, we want to sincerely thank you for your support and for the trust you’ve placed in our services. We truly value the relationships we’ve built with you this year.
This year came with plenty of milestones but as always we stayed focused on what matters most: keeping your services stable, improving performance, and continuing to build for the long term.
Here’s a quick look back at what we accomplished in 2025.
Rapid Datacenter Moves with Minimal Disruption
Earlier this year, due to closure of our primary datacenter partner in the United States we had to rapid migrate away to other datacenters. While this was not something we had anticipated given our long standing relationship with our datacenter partner combined with their decades of existence in the market, but when the time came our team acted fast to relocate infrastructure and keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
We completed multiple datacenter movements in the first half of the year at the following locations and importantly, there were no prolonged outages. Any downtime was limited to the required maintenance window during the actual move.
- Los Angeles (LA)
- Atlanta (ATL)
- Miami (MIA)
This was a high-pressure period operationally, and we’re grateful for your patience during the move windows. We treated service continuity as the priority and we’ll keep that same standard going forward.
Network Upgrades Across Key Locations
Beyond physical infrastructure moves, we also strengthened upstream connectivity in multiple locations to improve network routes, DDoS protection, and consistency:
- LAX1: New network upstream with GlobalSecureLayer added
- DE5: New network upstream with RETN, Core-Backbone and more added
In plain terms: better network options, more resilience, and improved performance predictability.
Second Half of 2025: New Location + New Compute Categories
New Location Launch
We launched a new location in Europe:
- DE5 – Frankfurt, Germany
This expands options for customers needing lower latency across Europe and stronger regional coverage.
New CPU Categories
We also introduced new compute choices to meet different workload needs:
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPU lineup
- AMD EPYC 3rd Gen CPU lineup with 10 Gbps networking and NVMe Storage options at DE and AMS locations
More choice = better fit. Whether you need high clock speeds or multi-core performance, this gives you better control over performance and cost.
Control Panel Improvements: Automated Live Backups
In 2025, we rolled out a major Control Panel feature:
- Automated Live Backups
Backups are one of those things you only appreciate when you really need them – so we focused on making backup scheduling and restore workflows more reliable and easier to manage.
Documentation Growth: 195 Wiki Articles Added
We also invested heavily in improving documentation and self-help resources:
- 195 wiki articles added in 2025
This includes guides, troubleshooting steps, best practices, and platform notes – so you can move faster without waiting for support on every small thing.
Looking Ahead to 2026
In 2026, we’ll continue doubling down on the core pillars:
- Infrastructure stability and performance improvements
- More automation and Control Panel enhancements
- Expanded capacity and smarter networking
- Continued documentation growth and better customer enablement
We’re building for the long term – and we’re excited about what’s next.
Happy Holidays & Best Wishes
We wish you happy and peaceful holidays, and all the best for 2026. May the new year bring you good health, success, and new opportunities.
Thank you again for your continued trust and support. We look forward to working with you again and growing together in the year ahead.
